What if your SD camera card had a WiFi chip in it that let you wirelessly offload your photos to your computer. As this article says the company EyeFi has been doing this for a while. Now it may be coming to an SD card near you.
I can tell you that as a photographer, it would be nice to come home from a long day of photography, set my camera on the table and have it automatically offload my photos into Lightroom.
